WHO ARE THE AHLE SUNNAT WAL JAMAAT? 1. The Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat is the largest group of Muslims and the only group whose beliefs and teachings are truly in accordance with the Holy Quran and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). 2. The beliefs of this group are the same as the beliefs of the Sahaba or noble companions of the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and the Salf-e-Saliheen (our great pious predecessors). 3. The Coming of Qiyamat and Some Signs One day the entire world, humans, animals, Jinns, Angels, earth, skies and whatever that is in them will come to an end or perish. The Books of ALLAH:- 1. Kitaabs were revealed to the Ambiya to teach and educate their nations. The big books are called "Kitaabs" whilst the small ones are called "Sahifas". 2. Muslims believe in all the Books sent by Allah Ta'ala. The Tauraat was revealed to Hazrat Moosa (alaihis salaam); the Zaboor was revealed to Hazrat Dawood (alaihis salaam); the Injeel was revealed to Hazrat 'Isa (alaihis salaam) and the Holy Quran was revealed to our Nabi Hazrat Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). 3. The Prophets and Messengers of ALLAH 1. Messenger" or "Rasool" means he who brings the Message from Allah Ta'ala to the servants. 2. A "Prophet" is he who received the "Wahi" (Revelation, a Message from Allah Ta'ala) for the guidance of mankind to show people the path to Allah Ta'ala. 3. What is Destiny (Taqdir)? 1. Within the Knowledge of Allah Ta'ala, He wrote what was going to happen in the world and whatever His servants were going to do. 2. Allah Ta’ala wrote good in some people's fate and wrote bad in another person's fate. 3. He did not make the person helpless by writing this down, but wrote down what the servant was going to do. 4. An example of this is that if Allah Ta’ala wrote bad for Zaid, then it was because He is aware that Zaid is going to do bad, and if Zaid was to do good, then He would have written good for Zaid, thus His Writing and His Knowledge did not make any person compelled. 5. HISTORY OF THE MEELAD SHAREEF The beginning of the celebration of the Meelad Shareef in its present form lies with the ruler of Irbil, Sultan Muzaffar whose full name is Abu Said Kukabri Ibn Zain al-Din Ali Ibn Baktagin, who is counted among the great Sultans and generous leaders. He was responsible for many other noble works as well. Among the many monuments set up by him was the Jami Muzaffari, which he had constructed near Mount Tasiyun. Ibn Kathir (radi Allahu anhu) writes about Sultan Muzaffar as follows: "Sultan Muzaffar used to arrange the celebration of the Meelad Shareef with due honour, glory, dignity and grandeur. In this connection, he used to organise a magnificent festival. He was a pure-hearted, brave and wise Alim and a just ruler. May Allah shower His Mercy on him and grant him an exalted status. IMAM AHMED RAZA AS THE MUJADDID OF THE 14TH CENTURY Undoubtedly, besides being recognised as a great Wali, as the Ghousul Azam and as the Imam Abu Hanifa (alaihir rahmah) of his time, A'la Hadrat (alahir rahmah) was also the Mujaddid (Reviver) of Islam of the 14th Century.
