Zakaat is one of the five pillars of Islam. It has been mentioned, along with daily Prayers (Salaah), seventy times in the Qur'an. Allah's Word commanding "... and establlsh regular Salaat and give regular Zakaat" are referred to in many parts of the Qur'an. From this we can conclude that after Salaat, Zakaat is the most important act in Islam. The following are some verses from the Holy Qur'an and some Ahadith showing the importance and benefits of Zakaat. Some Scholars have stated that the recitation of the Azaan at the graveside is an act of Sunnat. In the great volumes of Islamic Jurisprudence, it is not recorded anywhere that to recite Azaan at the graveside is prohibited by the Shari'ah. Some people say that at the time of Azaan, it is Haraam to kiss the nails of the thumbs when the name of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is uttered. Imaan is to accept every word of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) as the absolute truth and to testify whole-heartedly the reality and truth of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). WHO ARE THE AHLE SUNNAT WAL JAMAAT? 1. The Coming of Qiyamat and Some Signs One day the entire world, humans, animals, Jinns, Angels, earth, skies and whatever that is in them will come to an end or perish. There will be nothing left except for Allah Ta'ala. This is known as the coming of Qiyamat. Before the coming of Qiyamat, there will be some signs that will appear, out of which, we write some of them here: 1. Khasf meaning that there will be three places where the earth will open up and men will be buried alive. One will be in the west, one in the east and one in Arabia. 2.
