In the second year after Hijrah, the announcing of the time of Salaat began and Hadrat Bilaal Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu was appointed Mu’azzin and always remained the Mu’azzin of beloved Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam both in his presence and also during travel. Hadrat Bilaal Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu stayed with beloved Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam In Madinah Munawwarah, he was the Mu’azzin and even while travelling, he went with beloved Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam, and at the time of Salaah he used to give Adhaan. Very seldom beloved Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam went somewhere and someone other than Hadrat Bilaal Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu called the Adhaan. Whenever beloved Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam went to Masjid al-Qubaa, then Bilaal Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu would give the Adhaan and when hearing him, the people living around the area knew that beloved Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam was in the area. The Love of Prophet Mohammad (Sallallaho Alaihi Wasalam)

Image
When the Month of Rabi-ul-Awwal arrives and the moon of this glorious month is sighted, then the gardens of Islam begin to bloom illuminating the fragrance of the most beautifully scented of flowers, the pearl of the creation of Allah, Muhammad Mustapha (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). It was in his Sadaqah that the entire universe came into existence. It was for his welcome and to inform the creation of his coming that Almighty Allah sent various other Prophets on earth. If Almighty Allah had not sent the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam), He would not have revealed His Rububiyah. He is the Noor of Almighty Allah, Leader and Imam of the Ambiya and the Rasools. He is the hope of the distraught and the intercessor for the sinners. He is the Maalik of Jannah and the distributor of the Ne'mahs of Almighty Allah. He is the pride and honour of the skies and of the earth. The Throne and the rest of the Universe rejoiced on the birth of Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasall...

Alcohol And Prok Resturants Are Just Not Halal

We have received numerous complaints from the Muslim public about certain restaurants and diners that are "fully licensed", serving alcohol on their premises, and yet claiming their food to be Halaal. A few of these "Halaal" restaurants, when telephoned, did not hesitate to say that they also serve pork as a dish. Another restaurant owner said that he was Jewish and he advertised the Halaal sign without any reservations. The Imam Ahmed Raza Academy wishes to bring to the attention of the Muslim public the following:- We do not regard the food that is served in a restaurant in which there is also alcohol being served as being Halaal. The very fact that Islamic Commandments warn Muslims not to even enter a place where alcohol is served, let alone consume it, will clear all doubt about the food being Halaal because the alcohol and the "Halaal" food cannot be together or be served from one place. As for those restaurants that allow one to bring ...

Hadiths for Practical Living

Hadiths for Practical Living I leave with you two things; as long as you hold fast to them both, you will never be misguided the Kitab (Book) of Allah and Sunnat of His Rasool (Messenger). (Muwatta) He has tasted the sweetness of faith who is pleased with Allah as Rabb, with Islam as Deen and with Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) as Rasool (Messenger). (Sahih Muslim) Blessed is he who is guided to Islam, and whose livelihood is just sufficient and who is contented therewith. (Tirmidhi) Everyone of my followers will enter Jannat (Paradise) except he who refused. He (the Rasool of Allah) was asked: And who has refused (truth)? He said: Whosoever obeys me shall enter Jannat (Paradise) and whoever disobeys me has refused. (Sahih Bukhari) The Pleasure of the Rabb is in the pleasure of the father, and the displeasure of the Rabb is in the displeasure of the father. (Tirmidhi) A man asked: O Rasool of Allah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam): What are the rights of the ...

Shirts (Kamees) and Robes: Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) used a single long robe and recommended its use for others; as it covers the major portions of the body.
