The Permissibility of Reciting Azaan at Graveside

Image
The Permissibility of Reciting Azaan at Graveside Some Scholars have stated that the recitation of the Azaan at the graveside is an act of Sunnat. In the great volumes of Islamic Jurisprudence, it is not recorded anywhere that to recite Azaan at the graveside is prohibited by the Shari'ah. This itself is a clear indication of it's permissibility. What are the benefits to be achieved by reciting the Azaan at the graveside, it's benefit to the reciter and to those who are listening, especially to the deceased Muslim? They are: The person is protected from the evil or dread of the grave, He is protected from the Fire of Hell, The reciter helps the person in answering the questions of Munkar and Nakeer. The person is protected from the punishment of the grave, Since the Azaan mentions the name of the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) it becomes a reason for the descending of the Mercy of Almighty Allah for the deceased, The recital eradicates fear and sorrow...

The Hajj Pilgrimage, is one of the Pillars and fundamentals of Islam. It is the completion of surrender and the day of perfection of the religion of Islam. It was on this day that Almighty Allah revealed the following message to the Ummah of His beloved Prophet, Sayyiduna Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam): "Today, I have perfected your religion for you and completed my grace upon you and approved Islam as your religion." We must understand that the basis of all actions is intention and intention without doubt bears fruit if there is sincerity, and Hajj, which is an integral part of Islam, will therefore require those who perform it to have sincerity. When the person intends undertaking Hajj, he severs all ties with his family and home. This is a reminder to him also of the journey he will have to undertake for the Hereafter. As for provisions, the intending pilgrim must ensure that they have been acquired in the Halaal (permissable) manner. If a person desires to take...

To Say ALLAH and His Rasool Know Best

Image
1. Some people say that it is Shirk to say, "Allah and His Rasool know best" as we are equating Rasoolullahs (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) knowledge with Allah Taalas Knowledge. They say that Rasoolullahs (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) knowledge is limited because verses like "Alif Laam Meem", "Yaseen", etc. are only known to Allah Taala. They say that were not the Christians led astray and cursed because they did the same thing of equating Hazrat Isa (alaihis salaam) to Allah Ta'ala? 2. They say that all authoritative and reliable Kitaabs of Tafseer, Fiqh or Fatawa have the words "Wallaahu A' lamu" (And Allah Ta'ala knows best) and that nowhere will one find the words "Allah and His Rasool know best". 3. The Ahadith below will prove that it is indeed the Sunnah of the Sahabah Ikraam (radi Allahu anhum) to say: "Allah and his Rasool know best". 4. Not only is it the Sunnah of...
